Prior to being called to the Bar of Ontario in 2006, Mr. Munro obtained his undergraduate degree in 1992 from University of Toronto. Thereafter, Mr. Munro obtained a M.A. from McGill University in 1997. After working as a journalist in Cairo, Mr. Munro returned to Canada to study law at the University of Ottawa.
An experienced litigator, Mr. Munro has appeared at all levels of both the Superior Court of Justice and the Federal Court, as well as numerous administrative tribunals.

Before being called to the Bar of Ontario in 2018, Daniel graduated cum laude from the University of Ottawa, Common Law (English) program. While in law school, Daniel received the McCarthy Tétrault LLP Technology Law Award, completed an internship at the Samuelson-Glushko Canadian Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic (CIPPIC), and was a Dean’s Legal Research and Writing Fellow. As a Dean’s Fellow, Daniel wrote an in-depth comparative analysis of the Anti-Terrorism Act, 2015. In 2012, Daniel graduated with distinction from the University of Western Ontario with an Honours Bachelor of Music (Theory/Composition) degree. In addition to composing music, Daniel performed in various jazz and classical ensembles, and the pit band in his law school’s productions of Chicago and Legally Blonde. Daniel is thrilled to return home to Hamilton to serve the local community’s needs. In his spare time, Daniel enjoys playing his trumpet, cycling with his wife Amelia, and experimenting in the kitchen.
